Hey there, I'm Angelo Esmeralda and I'm an aspiring software engineer from California. Some of my favorite things to do are develop games with Unity, edit videos, play video games and randomly pick up on some new hobbies. A fun fact about me is my average words per minute on a keyboard is 120 WPM.
A game that I've put a lot of heart and soul into since 2021. An action RPG in which the player is able to micromanage 5 party members through dungeons. Mechanics include enemy behavior, inventory and item management, party management, quest systems,procedural dungeons, guild systems, and much more.
This project is the website you are using right now! It's more than just a portfolio website. I'm using the NextJS framework to develop a full stack website that will allow me to update information without editing code. This project is what allows me to easily create documentation for my other projects.
As the lead developer at We2Link and liaison during Angelo's final year at Cal State LA, I was able to become familiar the work produced by Angelo during his time with We2Link. Although his time with us was only for a short period, about eight months, his ability to effectively complete tasks in a reasonable amount of time made him a valuable asset for our organization. During his tenure within our company, Angelo was responsible for developing various new features for our website. He quickly became proficient in utilizing the tools and software used for working on our site. Tasks given to him and his group would always be completed promptly and in less time than was expected. Angelo has a strong work ethic and was always reliable during his time at We2Link. The work he produced was always of high quality with very few errors if any. Because of this, I would recommend Angelo Esmeralda as a candidate for a position within any organization. If given the opportunity, I feel he will prove to be a worthy asset.
Angelo has worked for We2Link, Inc. for the last 9 months. He has contributed significantly to the development of our Web App. He is skilled in React programing and has a foundational understanding of Google Firebase which we use as our backend. He understands agile programming and is skilled in the use of GitHub for submitting code.Angelo is an excellent team player and often offers insights that helped improve the project's function.
